can't get media videos to paly

when i go to the msn home website and try to watch the videos on there, i get
an error and it shuts down the whole explorer,why is this happening, i used
to be able to watch them, but i did my window's updates a while back and
havn't been able to watch them since,any one with a solution please email me
at doctolson@hotmail.com..... thanks

Empty your Internet cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet options, delete
files.
