Hi all

just checking I'm getting the numbers right.

If I'm getting a 3200 AMD 939 (90nm) and want to overclock from 2.0Ghz to 2.6Ghz . does that mean my FSB will increase from 200 to 260.

and if thats the case I'll need RAM that can handle 275ish to be safe.

does that sound right ???

also as far as overclocking goes does having 2GB vs 1GB have an impact on how far u can overclock assume the modules were 1or 2 pairs of e.g. twinx.

Oh any any suggestions on brands?
If I go with 1GB I'll prob by Corsair , if I get 2GB I'll prob go with Geli due to cost.

well the diff is only $30 but I'm looking best best mem overclock with lowest timings as timing is everything for the AMD

Also read that the 3200XL seem to overclock better than the 4000 and if u lossen the timings it basically becomes like 4000 or 4400
