is plasma or dlp better i am going to be hooking a xbox 360 to it and a pc

Plasma, of course. DLP is a rear projection tv and usually has an awful viewing angle, but at the same time you get a bigger picture, and if you spend enough you can at least come close to plasma quality.

What is your budget? What type of TV are you replacing? Is room as issue? Is glare an issue? WHat is the TV going to primarily be used for?

An LCD fits my needs the best right now. What you use the TV for makes a big difference.
