Computer Slows down when playing FLASH video

Last response: in Windows 7

Hi guys,

I reciently put together a new computer, specs are:

Intel i5 750
4 gigs ddr3 ram
500gb HD
Radeon 5570 GFX card

Whenever I play a flash video, it will be fine for the first few minutes then my computer slows down to a halt. Even after I close the internet window with the video, my computer is still slow until I restart. I'm thinking this is a video card issue maybe? But I just isntalled Windows 7 two days ago and I can play videogames fine. (I've only tried out fallout 3 for a few hours). This is really fustrating because I can't watch any streaming videos for any longer than 5 minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I found the solution! I forgot to mention in the above post that I have a Gigabyte P55-UD3 motherboard. Turns out it was a BIOS issue with the 5xxx Radeon series. I flashed the BIOS and all my problems are gone now!

Thanks for all the help

Cheers,

John
