I am trying to install Samsung ML-2010 printer on compaq xp home. My old reliable konicaminolta 1350w nearing the end. I followed instructions to install. But can't get it print even test page.
- Printer is powered on, connected usb cable between computer and printer
- When newhardware icon , and xp dialog to add the printer driver appeared on PC, I cancelled it.
- Installed the drivers from the CD supplied. But nothing happens, when I ask to print test page. Nor I could print any page.
- In device driver, by samsung ML2010, yellow exclamation(!) with info that driver not installed.
I could print the page on standalone on printer (press Cancel on the printer for 2 sec, page prints).
I could not figure out, what I am doing wrong. Some thing silly stupid 
Many have been using this printer and I thought I could ask help.
