I am new to the whole HTPC thing.

What I would like to do is connect my comcast digital cable to my computer and record. I would also like to play mp4 files on my tv.

What do I need to get to do this? Also can it be done with my old 866mhz P3? I have other pc's I could use but would like to retire the old P3 to this.

I know I need some sort of TV tuner card. Can someone suggest one that will do what I need and come with software that will let me setup record times and channels?
