My battery meter doesn't show in the notification bar like it used to. I
checked the power options and the show in taskbar box is still checked. Any
clues? It used to show battery meter and would show if i plugged into ac
power no it isnt there?

Hi John,

In the Taskbar and Start Menu properties, disable (uncheck) the option to
"hide inactive icons".
