Kingston microSD phone error

Everytime I insert my Kingston MicroSD 512MB memory card into my cell phone it says "A Media Card has been inserted that contains errors. to correct the errors please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer." This just started randomly the other day and I'm not sure how to fix it. Any helo out there?

Try using a card reader and format the card on the computer first. With Windows just right click on the card and select properties and go to the tools tab to check for errors if need be. But I would just format the thing first if you have no data on it.

If you can't even see the card, just pick up another card. $5.00 or so should get you a 2GB microSD, and for that price you would save yourself at lot of hassle.
