i have windows vista with 160 gb hard disk and 2 gb ram do i need graphics card.because i'm trying to play a game its getting hang again and again

Depending on the game, your system might not meet the requirements. What are your system specs? Newer games are pretty demanding; A graphics card might help but if your CPU isn't up to the task that will be a bottleneck and you'll continue to see lag in the game-play.
