hello there, I own a CANON PIXMA PRO and I would love to know a way to protect it against energy spikes, power problems..etc..
I had a canon i9900 ( the version prior to the PIXMA PRO 9000 series )
and it got burned after a spike, it was connected via USB to my computer wich took NO DAMAGE; both were connected to the same regulator..
some says the entire energy discharge went for the printer, killing it.... and my good quality power supply of my computer, prevented it to damage my computer.
suggestions?
a UPS?
another different regulator?
no idea why all printers from CANON seems to have the default 2 connectors, and not a trifasic one..
