Hello All, What are the benefits of tabbed browsing? Any software available
to add tabbed browsing to my WinXP Pro Sp2, IE6 browser?

It lets you keep more than one web site open at once and quickly
switch between them by choosing a different tab.

This sounded like a piddling advantage to me until I actually
tried it. It didn't take me long to become a convert.

There are several. I use Maxthon, and like it very much. It has
lots of useful features, not just tabbed browsing.

Maybe IE will have it in a future version.Firefox browser has it now and
it's a safer browser too.

You can browse multiple sites in one 'window'. You can open groups of pages
with a single click. I've been using Avant <www.avantbrowser.com> for
probably 2 years now and it works great.

IE7 will have tabbed browsing. Define 'safer browser'? IE properly
configured can be just as safe as Firefox.
