Hotmail Doesn't Work with my Macbook Pro

Hello all,

I purchased a Macbook Pro and moved all my apps and preferences from my old Mac to the new Pro using Migration Assistant. Everything seems fine except for MSN chatting that refuses to let me in on ANY chat client i.e. Microsoft Messenger, Adium, etc. Also, Mail app doesn't work with my Hotmail account! MSN chatting and Hotmail on Mail app work just fine on my old Macbook, but not on the new although all settings are identical. I tried reinstalling leopard and reinstalling the affected apps numerous time with no use. Why is it that only MSN doesn't work?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
