Help me turn on my wifi on my hp laptop

If you tell us the model laptop, that will help, if your wirless is active you should see a little icon in the bottom right of the screen. It will look like a row of bars increasing in size, possibly with a red cross over it, double click that and search for a connection, if you cant see the icon, you should look on the sides of the laptop for a little switch that activates the wireless.

Thats just generic infomation, we will need your laptop model to help you more.

I had a similar issue with a HP laptop at work.

My issue was that the wifi button light will not turn the wifi on, can't enable via Windows either. I had to reboot the laptop and press the Web Browser button next to the wifi button. That allowed me to then turn the wifi on and reboot back to Windows.

Give it a try.

Sometimes, as is the case with an old notebook of mine, the wifi button is knocked, causing the wifi to be disabled. There is no light or physical indicator, so you don't know. It's worth a try anyway ^_^
