Which laptop is better the Asus G1S-X3 or ASUS X83VB-X2. I have a choice to buy either one for $450.00 used from a guy at work, but don't know which one would be better. The guy at work said the G1S is older but upgradable and the other is newer but only the cpu can be upgraded from what I was told.
The G1S specs are
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2 GHz
Memory: 2 GB DDR2
Storage: 160GB
Display: 15.4" NVIDIA GeForce 8600M, 1680 x 1050 ( WSXGA )
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium

The X83V specs are
Processor: 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6400
Memory: 4GB, 800MHz DDR2
Hard drive: 250GB 5,400rpm
Chipset Mobile Intel GM45 Express
Display: 14.1" 256MB Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS
Operating System: Windows Vista Premium (64-bit)

With out a doubt the G1S,it has a better CPU and VGA,upgrade the RAM/HDD if u want though
