Anyone have the Samsung 2232BW (22" Widescreen HD - 720p)?
I'm thinking of getting one and it looks like the best one for gaming. (Although I'll eventually have to update my crappy video card, but I don't think it really matters since I mainly play HL1 & Mods and CSS)
* Ultrafast 2 ms response time
* 1000:1 contrast ratio (3000:1 dynamic); 300cd/m² brightness
* 1680 x 1050 maximum resolution; wide 170° horizontal and vertical viewing angles
* DVI-D and D-sub inputs
Its $300 at Best Buy and it seems like a really good deal
I have a few questions also:
What are the "DVI-D and D-sub inputs"?
How might this perform in games with an ATi 9600 256mb card? (I know I'm not going to be able to run new games, but I'd like to know how performance will be on in games like HL1/HL2/UT2k4)
Does this use a regular connector thing (sorry, don't know what its called) or does it use a special type of connection because of the higher resolution? I have an LCD right now but its an old one from 2004 so I don't know if things have changed since then.
Thanks for your time!
