I'm leaning towards the middle one with the 18" screen but by concerns are the processor (AMD AMD Turion RM-72 2.1 or Intel 4300/T5900 ) and Graphics (ATI Mob Rad GB or NVIDIA GeForce 9500M GS TurboCache).
Any advice would be wonderful as I'm totally confused!
Well, from the very basic info given by laskys.com, I wouldn't say that either of those systems would be good for gaming. And honestly, I'm not sure that a company that doesn't know what the exact specs are for a system they are selling deserves your business. Even if they just copied and pasted the specs from the manufacturer that would be better than saying " ATI Mob Rad". That can describe any number of ATI graphics cards.
I went and did some research for you. The Samsung R720 uses a Radeon HD 4330, not exactly the card you want if you wish to play games. Even the 9500GS is a stretch. I would say that a 9600GT/ HD 4650 would be the lowest cards to look at if gaming is on the list of priorities.
That being said, the Acer 6920G is probably the best of the group. Fastest CPU and GPU of the group.
Looks like an older version of the 18" Acer Aspire 6920G-593G25Mn I was keen on (it's the screen size thats drawing me in). Seems to be playing games fairly reasonably.
^Yes, I forgot to look that one up. The 18'' Acer uses an HD 3650 which is only a little behind the 4650 I mentioned and will be ok for gaming. Not the best, but certainly better than the HD 4330 or the 9500GS in the other two.
