Looking for a ps3 hdmi cable with audio capabilities

Does anyone know if and where to buy an hdmi cable for ps3 that allows you to route sound through an amplifier and not just the tv?...

Or does the one included in the box already offer this?.

PS3 only include composite video signal and stereo (RCA) analog cable.

You will need a converter to extract the audio from HDMI, if your receiver already has HDMI input then I suggest you buy 2 HDMI and connect the PS3 to receiver then out to TV.

If your receiver doesn’t have HDMI input then use an optical cable to connect PS3 to your receiver for audio, then configure you PS3 audio to output sounds through optical. If you don’t have optical input on your receiver, you will need a converter from optical to coax or analog.
