Correct batteries for charger

I have received a Sanyo NC-MQR01J/U battery charger for Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries. It won't be used for anything but a wireless Microsoft mouse. The back of the unit states: DC 1.2v 460mAx4 / 920mAx2. I am familiar with these terms. My question is this, can I use higher mha batteries and still be allright? Also, what would you recommend as a good, cheap Ni-MH battery to use in this charger. Thank-You for taking the time to read this post. I'm just trying to go a little green buy re-using batteries.

Yes you can use higher capacity but it'll take longer to charge. Unless the charger have protection circuitry that protects itself and the battery, it will shut down when max allowed current is reach, or it'll damage the charger.
