Hi, I just got a Highpoint 1640 SATA Raid Controller.
I was curious, if others used this, what is the build time for a RAID 5 like? I have 3 250GB disks set up for a RAID volume and it is taking forever! It estimated well over 12 hours. Is that normal? A review I saw here seemed to consider it running pretty fast, but no real time estimates that I could find...

That sounds reasonable. Maybe a little long for just making the array (not rebuilding a previous one) but still reasonable.
