Hi,
Just recently, my wireless mouse has started to malfunction. When I am using the computer, the mouse may begin to skip, or it may be stuck at the top of the screen or the bottom of the screen. I don't know what's up with that. When it gets stuck at the top or bottom of the screen, I can still move it from side to side, just not up and down. I opened it up, and I made sure that it was clean. However, it still refuses to work properly. I also changed the AAA batteries a few times but that did not do any good either. I also tried to remove the batteries, put them back in, and then reconnect it to the receiver. That worked for a while but then it would get stuck at the top or the bottom of the screen again. I tried connecting a new mouse. This one was a laser cordless mouse... and it works like a charm. That means that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the receiver. But I would still like to use the original one for a few more years (since it is only 4 years old. My mouse (the one that is not working correctly) is a logitech cordless ball mouse. It has a blue piece that surrounds the buttons and a webwheel in the center. As I said earlier, it uses AAA batteries x2. Did any of you have the same problem in the past? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
