Ok, so for a wile I was into the whole ipod stuff. So I have a few ipod parts laying around [I was fixing them before the market dropped out] namely some good 1.8in hard drives from the older models. The kind that have the ide interface like on a CF card. What I'm looking for a mp3 player that can use them, because I know how much ipods suck.. Dose anyone know what models use the 1.8in ide drives?

try anythingbutipod.com on the forum there, and they should help you out. they have a much more complete knowledge of players than anyone here.
