I am looking for a decent 17" or 19" lcd monitor with a budget of $200 and under.
I have found some refurbished monitors and I was wondering if it's safe to consider those. I am not too thrilled about a refurbished monitor since lcd monitors/tvs have so many issues as it is.
This will be a 2nd monitor and needs to be DVI. I have two computers (and building a 3rd) and so I would like the 2nd monitor to be fairly cheap and it doesn't have to have the top specs although most I find are either 1280 x 1024 or 1440 x 900. Should I go for a particular resolution, brand or spec? Most of the monitors are around 5ms so it's mostly brand choice and price to go on. I found used ones that are in my price range but they are refurbished and the new ones are slightly over $200.
