So my question is. Which of these would perform better graphics wise.

Dell XPS Studio 16
Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (3MB cache/2.4GHz/1066Mhz FSB),
4gb DD3 @ 1066mhz
320 GB SATA Hard Drive(7200rpm),
512mb ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670

vs.

HP Pavilion HDX16T HDX
Intel T6400 (2.0GHz
4GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)
250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection
512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

Will be used most for school. But would like gaming performance. Which of these would perform better as a gaming laptop? I know the HP has a better video card (not by much) but the dell has a better processor. Im not too concerned about the rpm on the harddrives.

the 3670 has DX10.1 but the 9600m GT is faster

go with the ATI if looking for future games but the 9600 for present and normal games

they are both around even but the dell is a bit more future proof

and i don't like dells so i would go with the HP, however, the dells seem to be the better choice here

9600MGT is about %10 faster than a HD 3670,but would choose the Dell model because it has a faster CPU+ a faster HDD,i know u don't care about the RPM speed but it will make a difference in loadings/boot up time.... :) so i would go with the Dell model
