White screen after CFL bulb change (Laptop)

I was recenty fixing up some Lcds that were cluttering up the basement. One of these was perfecly fine except that it was reddish for a while at startup. I knew the bulb was giong bad so I replaced it. Now all I get is a pretty white screen. I have checked all connections, Swapped out the inverter, Prayed, and almost cried (though not in that particular order). I thought this might be a good one to post. The lcd in question is from a dell C840. I have also installed other screens on this unit succesfully as well as using an external monitor, so I know my MOBO and Video card are OK. Thanks in advance.
