So my problem is that my computer takes long to load up i just reinstalled my windows xp pro sp3 and every time i turn on the computer it takes 10 min to load i get a black screen with white stripes and its loading takes about 10 min to load up everthing happens before entering dekstop .

download bootvis, run it and restart the computer, it analyzes your shutdown and startup variables and sorts most problems.

I have a similar problem. Windows takes a long time after log on.

I have the program but dont understand how to use it .

Start the program, click tab "trace", then "next boot + driver delays", and restart. After the restart do the same but now click "optimize", also behind the "trace" tab.

See if removing sp3 helps, so the problem can be located

Well i got pissed of so i just reinstalled my windows and its working fine anyway thanks for the help.
