Will XP work on HP Pavillion 6736?

Right now it's running Windows ME and I'd like to use it as a server with XP installed on it but will it work?

From HP's Defualt specs ur running a Celeron 667 with 64mb pc-100 with a max of 512.

You can, i would upgrade 256 at min.

Might want to look in at getting a used p4 machine, my store sells 2.0ghz 512 20 starting at 100 bucks with xp pro preinstall.

Check locally own shops, would save you alot of headache

I'm only needing it to TEST software to see if it has spyware/viruses And as a test server for creating websites.

Is there something better than ME that would satisfy those needs?
