Need a new headset

Alright well my last headset died around four months ago and well I just can't play much games without one because it's infuriating not being able to communicate with my team. Can anyone recommend a good headset with a mic, or should I get a mic stand thing? You know the giant mic stick that goes on your desktop...

I've never really had a quality headset and so I've always used my speakers sound and just used the headsets outpot mic.

Don't need top of the line one, but would like it to last awhile if it would be a good investment I wouldn't mind spending 60 bucks or so.

Anyway, could somebody give me some recommendations on some decent mics/headsets? All help is appreciated.
