Hey everyone,

So I've purchased all the parts needed to build my computer and am planning to do it tonight, but I just realized that I'm missing my Windows 7 CD.

I'm 90% certain that it's not an OEM version, as it's not something that came with my laptop seeing as I purchased Windows 7 separately. And also, when I went to look up my Windows 7 Product Key, "OEM" didn't show up anywhere in the Product ID#, which I've been hearing is the case for OEM versions.

So.. with a Product Key but no CD, what is the course of action I can take?

I found a link: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Would this be the appropriate file I need to download onto a CD to install Windows 7 into my new computer (given that I already have a product key)? Thanks!

You can download an ISO image of the Windows 7 install DVD from the links below. You will obviously need a valid product key, which you say you have, so those should work unless you have an OEM key.
