Does anybody know the difference between the 22" Samsung LCD monitors model 2232BW and 2232GW? Read a good review for the GW in PCWorld with no mention of a BW in that review but learned about it when I started shopping online. Nothing different about it on the Samsung site or anywhere else I researched so far yet the GW seems to go for a higher price.

Hello Tom& shorecat99, Brand here in Virginia Beach. I called Samsung today& they told me that the 2232gw is the newest and that when you see the letters go up it's the newest mod.

Same monitor different screen coating.

The BW uses your standard matte finish anti-glare.

The GW uses something called "MagicClear", it is basically a glossy finish that makes colors look more vibrant, but being a glossy screen, you can see lots of glare and reflections depending on where your lights are. Think of it as a "mirror finish".
