Hello. First of all, i'm new in here so I don't know for sure if this thread has been written once, or twice.
Second i apologise for spelling errors, or bad grammar, but i'm from Denmark, so my english isn't the best, but i try.
Well to the issue.
First of all i have a AMD 64 x2 4600+ newcastle, 4 gb ddr1, Nvidia 7900 gto 512 mb and the issue - Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty ..
Thuesday I went to a hifi store and bought a high quality RCA cable, you know the analog with red and white (sometimes black). Before i have used a golden Rca cable, with some sort of joiner, so i could use the green cable, in input on the soundcard. (no offence to all the people in here who has a major knowledge, but you really need to help me because I don't know what it's called.)
The sound has been o.k. when i used rca cable, with a joiner, so there was only one cable to be plugged into the soundcard.
But now i thought - hey, you have a x-fi front thing, try use the analog input in the front, with a new cable, that have no joiners so it's the real deal, if you know what i'm saying.
But when I do that, and plug the cables in the front, theres is no sound comming out of my speaker system, which by the way is a DVD-system, 5,1 sorround, PANASONIC.
What could i do about this issue? - i mean, how can i get the sound comming out of the speakers, I have a remote to the front, but that doesn't help either.
Btw: how can I put in thumbnails in here? like I saw in another thread? - because I thought, then I could take some pics' and upload them here, so you have visualized my issue.?
