Not sure if you guys noted this, the set appears pretty generic
and is easy to overlook

But I really like how it does not draw power in standby.

I hate when power supplies get hot. And all speakers do that.

Hope they sound as good as T20s, they should, given they come with the sub...

What do you think of these?

That's not bad but for that much money... I think that Creative speaker system compete with this http://www.razerzone.com/p-90-raze [...] audio.aspx

If you're serious about audio quality for your PC you should look at this.

I would say if you're serious about audio quality for your PC, forgo PC speakers altogether - get a decent receiver and a pair of bookshelf speakers, and then use the TOSLINK output on your computer.

PC speakers seem to have gone a long way and high end PC speakers might render better audio then cheap bookshelves.
I found this short review quite interesting - note this comes from a person using a nice headphone amp and a decent set of cans:

Digital out + receiver + big fat speakers from Axiom etc are not always the option - you need enough real estate for that, plus we talk about an extra zero on the overall price tag - not everyone is ready for that. No doubt this should sound great though.

Razer - is this the company that makes mice and mouse matts?
Not sure how that translates into things audio - my wild ass guess is: not well.

The T40 does have a very good review; I heard them on display and the speakers sounds good for its size. But I just can’t get myself to buy it because of I’m not satisfied enough. Klipsch use to make that size but twice the price but also less distortion, If Klipsch sells it for $100 and Creative sells the T40 for $50 then I may consider them.

Same with the GigaWorks T3. However that price will come down like the other Creative products in time so... will see.
