Aftermarket Blue-ray burners/drives are not cheap at all, if you want a good one...so....
In regards to the systems, I would push towards the HP...I personally like HP as a brand because of the quality of their products, plus AMD processors are much more reasonably priced for what they offer.
The processors you have highlighted in these two computers are:
AMD Phenom II X4 920-
Clock Speed: 3000MHz (3.0GHz) L1 Cache: 4X128MB L2 Cache: 4 x 512KB L3 Cache: 6MB Power Consumption: 125W
Intel Core i7-
Clock Speed: 2666MHz (2.66GHz) L1 Cache: 32KB L2 Cache: 4 x 256KB L3 Cache: 8MB Power Consumption: 130W
Although the i7 Machine will be using DDR3 RAM, it will only be using 3GB of it. 8GB of DDR2 should well outperform the DDR3.
Even with all of their differences, the systems are very similar, and it more or less up to you and your preferences. Good luck.
