Hey i'm planning to buy a new monitor for my new pc that i'm getting in a few days time. I was thinking about getting the samsung 206bw but after doing some more research on the site i'm buying from (ebuyer.com) i realized that there are few other options around. I'm a moderate gamer who love first person shooter so response time and image contrast ratio is going to be a very important thing to me. I have to choose from this selection of monitors:

20" Samsung 206bw (DC 3000:1 (1000:1, 2ms) £ 170
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/125098

20" Samsung SM2032BW (DC 3000:1 (1000:1, 2ms) £ 170
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132115

22" LG L226WTQ-SF (3000:1, 2ms) £ 178
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/134272

20" LG L204WT (2000:1, 5ms) £ 140

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/121978

22" Cibox C2201D (1000:1, 5ms) £ 165
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/129910

22" Belinea 2225S1W (1000:1, 5ms) £ 152
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124438

Budget: Less then £ 180

So i want to choose one of those panels, and i'm gonna need your help, because your clearly are more informed when it comes to choosing a prefect gaming monitor.

Perhaps the following reviews of 22" monitors will help. Sorry, but there aren't many reviews for 20" monitors

22 inch LCD monitors: the 3rd wave! - Conclusion

An older review. Note the 226BW in the review uses a Samsung TN panel (S panel). There are at least two other panel used in the 226BW right now so chances of getting a S panel is very slim.

22 inch LCD monitors: The second coming! - Conclusion

I don't particularly like TN panel technology so I won't make any recommendations.

Hi

I'm looking to buy a new monitor too. Decided i'm going for the 20" range. Had my eyes on 2 monitors that you mentioned:

20" Samsung SM2032BW user reviews

20" LG L204WT review

I'm going for the Samsung pebble. The quicker response time, and LG's not so great review...

Ciao
