When i am trying to copy any file from the lap top to pen drive, it is not copying. it is giving a message that administrator permission i am not understanding how to copy files to pendrive please help

You have to log on to your laptop as admin. Is this your laptop or one from your employer? If it's yours, log on as administrator, if it is your employers, you need to talk to your IT dept.
I think your pen drive is not working or it may be corrupted due to virus. So, it better to format your pen drive before saving any kind of data.
