One of the only things I like about cable is getting a signal into my home that can easily be routed to where ever I want to hook up a TV. TVs seem to work fine just hooked to the cable and can receive all the channels I'm willing to pay for. With other options (other than over the air analog which is going away) a converter is required for each TV I want to hook up. Why can't I just by a single digital converter with an output like cable where all available channels can be fed throughout my home cable system and allow each TV to choose the channel desired.
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but if the cable company can to it why can't the converter makers do the same thing?
