I got a studio 17 with a ati 3650m with 256, i want to no what would be better for me p8600 with 2.4 or t9400 with 2.53, i no the t9400 is better, but what it be over kill for the 3650. I also have vista 64bit and 4 gigs of ram and its a 1737 and all i play is l4d.

Yup, the speed difference probably won't be noticeable and almost certainly not that big of an improvement for the price that Dell probably wants you to pay.
