Very LAME Keyboard/Boot Issue

Ok, so being an idiot, I accidentally click hibernate instead of shutdown. Only problem is that my computer is incapable of 'reawakening' from hibernation (kind of like a bear that dies before he makes it out of his cave). Anyway, I have to fully shut down my computer and reboot. Unfortunately, I get a screen telling me to press ENTER if I want to delete the previous configuration and load windows. The strange thing is that windows hasn't recognized my keyboard at this point, so i can not press enter and therefore my computer is temporarily a useless pile of scrap metal. Another funny thing is I can't access bios (though i could before this problem) seemingly because the keyboard isn't being recognized yet. What can i possibly do to solve this problem??

I have already tried switching usb ports, but nothing seems to work. I haven't tried using another keyboard yet, but i really doubt that my g11 would 'break' at only a couple months old.

Thanks! I fixed the problem by removing two of my three hard drives (the ones without my windows installation). This somehow allowed me to skip the 'restoration data' screen. I'm worried that it will happen again though. And now it seems that I can't access bios...again because the keyboard isn't being recognized. I hate to reset bios, but I may have to do that if I ever want to access it again.

rgglass84 you replied to a thread that was last replied to on 1-30-2008 some 15 1/2 months ago, The procedure for resetting the CMOS jumper and defaulting the BIOS is outlined in your MB manual. Unplug the system from the wall. Remove the MB battery. Short the CMOS jumper and set the jumper back to it's default or run position. Reinstall the battery. That should default the system BIOS.
