I am not very technical, but I bought a new HP with a Blu Ray Player installed. I did not realize that I needed specific Blu Ray Playback software to us it. So, I downloaded the free 30 day trail of Cyberlink PowerDVD9. I have my computer hooked up to my surround sound receiver and am getting the video just fine, but can not get sound out of it. I am using an HDMI connection and I get audio from playing CD's, DVD's and online places like youtube etc...but, no blu-ray audio. I tried different audio formats in my receiver and tried switching the HDMI input to different sources (Game/TV and DVR/VCR)...to no avail. Does anyone have any light they could shed on this issue?
