Is it overkill or underkill?
I think it should be just perfect for me. I like the fact I can watch TV on one side and surf on the other. Or play Wow on one side and have thotbott on the other side.

As long as it does what you want you should be happy (i.e. split screen).

As for under/overkill, that depending on how much space you have for the HDTV and how far you intend on sitting away from it.
