I have a wireless xbox control with plug and play.. id like to use it as the control on my pc but it only recognizes it as plug and play and just charges my control and i cant actually use it on the pc, is there a way to change that?

Nope. All the Plug and Play kit does is charge the controller. No gaming signals are sent through the cable. The wireless controllers still work wirelessly while charging.

You can buy an adapter to use the controller on your pc.
