What Camcorder for interview's?

Hi guys, I'm starting a new website with interviews (lol... nobody did it before), and in order to do this I'd like to buy a camera.
I really care about the quality, but since the target is the web I think that with 720p will be enough what do you think?

The idea is to film on a quiet place, just myself and the interviewer. The interview will not be more than 30-45 minutes. So a camcorder with SD will be great but I'm not an expert...

Also probably will be better to use an external mic than the regular on the camera, if so what do you recommend?
and by the end... I'll need a tripod too again your feedback will be great.
