Vary upset with this TV over a year trying to get a firmware upgrade to fix these problems. model SK-26H590D They know the problem, since Dec 08 or before, got that from one of there phone people. Many phone calls and emails.
I have been getting the runaround for over 9 months, how long dose it take to fix soft ware.
The clock loses minuets a day
time zone is wrong, need to set time one hour earlier reset turn on timer each night to turn on next day
Those are the problems I use, the ones that should never been released
here are some other ones that are irritating;
can't set what channel comes on with turn on timer
sleep mode is not on remote, have to go deep in menu to set and pick a time
I would like you buy this back, so I can find one of your competitors the works

Your engineering department has not fixed the firm ware as yet that they know about, what the hell is taking so long to fix the weekly timers so they will work. I want to talk to the CEO to get you people off your dead asses.

In Europe, Westinghouse domestic appliances etc are handled by Philips which suggests to me that Philips now owns the company. Philips is big and bureaucratic which may explain your problems.
Alternatively, the Westinghouse brand name for TV may be franchised to other manufacturers. This has happened with formerly respected European brandnames like Grundig, Bush, Morphy Richards which now turn up on stuff made by Chinese companies.
this is what happens when you try to save cash by getting one of the lesser known brand names. i got a lesser brand LCD TV and i prepared myself for any issues that you would expect from a cheap brand TV
