Compaq presario 1685 keaboard

The old Compaq Presario 1685 is used by fellow pensioners in Slough & am trying to help fix it.

The strip cable to the keyboard has a break, a slit across 5 wires on the left hand leg of its "Y" section, as it enters the keyboard.

Markings back of keyboard are:-

replace with compa Spare: 141706-002
Model: 950403M1 A
Ser.#: 992300440
REV: 000A V1 US P/N50M100D47-00

Any chance of finding a keaboard?
