Ok guys and gals... I'm thoroughly frustrated with this one.

I need help getting drivers for the above mentioned system. Here's the scenario:

-Don't have the system restore disks that came with it, so that's not an option and nor do we want to BUY a new one from HP.
-HD crashed, so I can't create a new backup disk

Installed a new HD and reloaded XP with an old key that I had from another build that went tits-up on me a year or more back. I'm working on trying to install the HP-supplied drivers, but it keeps giving me an error saying that I'm not logged in as an administrator, but I most certainly am, so I can't use theirs apparently.

I have pieced together most of the drivers for the components, but the frustrating part is that I can't seem to get the network and display drivers are apparently proprietary or something because even when I'm manually forcing the specific drivers, it won't initialize the freaking hardware and start it up.

So, where o where can a geek go to get these f'in things?

Thanks in advance.
