Well, Mike -
On my website, in the ancient gallery of the historical section, I've got
photos of Ral Partha Companions and Hypaspists and Foundry Macedonian
Pikemen and Elephants I painted for a customer. Personally, I liked the
Foundry Macedonian figures a lot. They were neat and clean and well-cast.
And considering what they cost, they should be.

Well, I think that by far the best looking figures out there are
Zvedza's hoplites and Macedonian cavalry. Zvedza's pikemen are nothing
to write home about, though.
Zvedza figures tend to be 23-25mm tall, so they would be a little runty
next to 28/32mm figures.

Vendel do a very nice Alexander figure, and their companions are nice, too.
Quite large, though
