How do I fix stuck pixels on my Philips 19PFL3403D LCD TV?

I once sorted a laptop screen by gently tapping the affected spot with my finger -- but mostly these defects are from the factory where a certain percentage is regarded as inevitable and thus within the spec for the product to be marketable.

So it's luck of the draw when you buy one and unless the dud pixels are multiplying, probably no comeback at Philips or the retailer.
