HDTV startup issue

Hello

I have a peculiar proble. I have sony 37inch bravia hdtv. certain times when i switch of the tv it does not turn back on. I need to take out the power outlets both sides wait for say 15 minutes and then afterwards it turs on. It does noyt happpen everytime. sometime when i press the button very fast [thats what i feel] it happens. If i press it very carefully [both tv power and remote] nothing happens.

In normal mode on startup the tv on powering gives one click and another click after 5 -6 seconds. However when this startup issues happen it gives 2 clicks. simultaneously ad nothing happens.

if u remove power plug and put after say 2 minutes again same. it requires to stop some 5 - 10 minutes then it will function properly

what could be the problem??
