I'm looking for a nice mouse to go with my Logitech G15 keyboard. It's need's to be wireless becuase I always hate how the cord gets snagged on something when playing FPS and other games.
So what would you guys reccomened? I like the extra fetures with the MX. All the extra scroll and buttons. However I heard it's really realy bulky and heavy. The G7 seems to be more expensive then the MX which is weird. Dosnt have many buttons, only a scroll and 1 side botton, and zoom button.
So please vote, or give me other opinions on good wireless mouses =)
Thanks

I have an MX Revolution and a G5 (wired, sorry). The two are for very different things. If gaming is what you do most, I'd go with one of the G-series mice. They just feel better and smoother for games. The Revolution is GREAT for working with many documents with many tabs. The free-scroll is fun, and I definitely miss it on other mice. The Revolution lets me do some stuff pretty quickly from the mouse - flipping programs is sometimes faster than the keyboard shortcuts in Windows...
The G9 is a great choice too - it has the weighted adjustable scroll wheel from the revolution series, but the lightning fast response and tweaking of the G series. Of course, it isn't wireless. If you want wireless, go with zipz0p's advice as far as the difference between them.
I was in the same situation not too long ago. I was switching from a trackball to a mouse for gaming. I had the mx1000 that I used for everythign but gaming and the trackman for gaming. I hated cords and that is why i had a trackball. I was researching the g7 and the g5 because everyone told me not to go wireless. I was very hesitant with the g5 but I went that way and to my surprise the cord has yet to hang on anything. I did not go with the g7 because I have heard many battery woes. I suggest going with a wired mouse like the g5 for a bit and if you do not like it take it back and exchange it for a g7.
