I will be buying a 22" monitor for gaming.

If you are in the UK, try Overclockers.co.uk.
They have a cracking 24" on offer on their front page. PVA panel, 1920x1200 rez 180 degree angles and, from mine, no lag or ghosting, unlike the Samsung Pebble it has replaced.

personaly, if i was buying a 22" then i would go for a samsung model cause their casings look real neat and the image quality is also really nice, although nothing beats my 28" ViewSonic........other then 32" apple :p

my Samsung 2232BW is one sweet monitor.. with a calbation file

and playing CS:Source with low FPS and when i do a 180~360turn really quick i dont notice and blur or ghosting.....

you might want to consider it
