Hi everyone,

Im not sure this is the right place, but anyway...

I know absolutely nothing about projectors, but plan to buy one so I hoped for some directions on whats worth buying, or maybe rather what I should look at when picking one + suggestions :)

Ive been doing a bit of a research on my own and looked at several models from Panasonic and Optoma(especially the HD20 model) and noticed that I can find 1080 models that are within my budget, but if the same £1000 would give me much better quality(?) 720 model than I probably would go for it. So i guess thats where I need your expertise the most.

The projector will mostly be used for watching movies(DVD) and maybe a bit of gaming(hooked up to a PC but not as a main screen).

Thank you for any input,
MaD

I can't speak to any HD capable model projectors, but I would recommend heading over to Projectorcentral.com and read the reviews of any projector you're looking at. Maybe do some comparisons.
